The Vrboska walk

Vrboska is called Little Venice for its bridges, and the name is earned if you walk it slowly. The loop of eight kilometres is marked easy: asphalt and macadam, seventy metres of height, two and a half hours if you do not hurry. The church-fortress of St Mary of Mercy — rebuilt after the Turkish attack of 1571 — is the stone at the centre. End at the water, when the light is leaving the canal.
